Get Up, and Get Going
You need to start your journey into financial prosperity early and leave a good inheritance for your children.
"A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just." (Proverbs 13:22)
Well, let me admit here that it is easier to rise fast in life when you have a good inheritance; a soft landing. It is easier to wax stronger in financial prosperity if one is born into wealth. We have the likes of the popular secular pop singer, David Adedeji-Adeleke(Davido) whose father is Adedeji Adeleke, CEO of Pacific Holdings; Aliko Dangote whose mother is Mariya Sanusi-Dantata. Late Sanusi Dantata, maternal grandfather of Aliko Dangote's, was an avid businessman who was ranked among the wealthiest people in Kano, and Alhassan Dantata(Sanusi Dantata's father) was West Africa's richest man in the 1950's.
Aliko Dangote's father, the late Mohammed Dangote, was also a businessman and politician. We also have Femi Otedola(Michael Otedola's son, a one time governor of Lagos state). What about Uzoma Dozie? Uzoma Dozie (CEO and founder of Sparkle) is son of Diamond bank founder, Pascal Dozie, and many others, who were born into wealth.
However, though it's quite difficult to climb the ladder of wealth from the bottom, one can still rise from nothing and become wealthy. We have had people in history who encountered wealth on their way. This category of people made it through sheer benevolence and by the instrumentality of destiny helpers. We have the likes of John D. Rockefeller(the world's first billionaire); Sir, Doctor, Chief Igbinedion, the Esama of Benin; the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa, and many others.
Whether you were born into wealth or you are struggling from the scratch, you can make it to the top genuinely if you so determine. We are on this journey together. Get up and get going.
