Tai Local Government Chairman, Sir Mbakpone Okpe Friday has today November 7th, 2022 handed over official Vehicles to the Vice Chairman, Leader of Council and Secretary to Local Government, at Saakpenwa.
Sir Mbakpone Okpe while handing over the Car keys to the beneficiaries, noted that by law the Vice Chairman, Secretary and Leader of Council is entitled to an official Vehicle. He further stressed that they have been discharging their official duties all this while without a Vehicle and never complained because the comfort of the Tai people were placed above their personal comfort. Therefore, he feels they actually needs these Vehicles now for Easy mobility and other official duties that may be needed from them.
The Cars that were handed over to them includes: A Toyota Venza for the Vice Chairman Hon. Caroline Amanwa, a Lexus ES 350 for the Leader of Council Rt Hon. Kenude Levi and a Toyata Camry (Spider) for the Secretary of Council Sir Joseph AkpoBari Gwezia.
Hon. Caroline Amanwa who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries, thanked the Executive Chairman for remembering them for the gift and also pray that God will bless and protect him for the Tai people.
Similarly, Sir Mbakpone Okpe also extended his magnanimity to the Nigeria Army by procuring a motorcycle to ease their movement on some track roads in the local Communities.
