In 2022, TNF found a new permanent home after years of moving between networks: Prime Video from Amazon A streaming service has signed an exclusive season-long broadcasting agreement with the NFL for the first time.

Fifteen TNF games all through the 2022 season will be gushed on Amazon, with the main exemptions being Week 1's opening shot game and Week 12's Thanksgiving games. All season, legendary announcers Al Michaels (play-by-play) and Kirk Herbstreit (analysis) will call the games, starting with a big one with two great quarterbacks.

The complete schedule for Amazon's first season of TNF can be found below, with all games starting at 8:15 p.m. ET:

September 15: Chiefs 27, Chargers 24. Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs defeated Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers in a game that went down to the wire. After trailing 17-7 at one point, the Chiefs scored 17 unanswered points. 27-24, Kansas City took control.

September 22, Week 3: Browns 29, Steelers 17

It was an ordinary AFC North contention game, with the Earthy colors and Steelers exchanging punches the entire evening. The Steelers attempted a trick play on the game's final play, with Cleveland leading 23-17, but fumbled in their own end zone, giving Cleveland a 29-17 victory.

"It was an stupendous job by Brock pumping him, especially with the joe in his face and taking that megahit," Shanahan said. "It was a huge play for us at the end of the half."

The timing of the play couldn't have been any further deflating for the rovers. Purdy's interdicted pass was annulled on the former play by a protective holding penalty.

Rather than settling for a field thing at the end of the half, Shanahan trusted Purdy enough to give him an occasion to make a big play. The touchdown gave the 49ers a 28- 0 lead at halftime.

The first half ended a lot better than it began for Purdy.

On the game's first play, rovers safety Keanu Neal came untouched off the frontal side and delivered a huge megahit on Purdy for an apparent sack.( Neal was punished 15 yards for roughing the passer.)

There was no riddle where the foul-up passed.

"I was in the wrong play, actually, so that was on me," Purdy said.

Shanahan said the first call from Shanahan's script of 24 plays to open the game was a man-zone read. Purdy changed the call because he allowed the rovers were playing man content. He was wrong.

"He was just a little agitated in the morning," Shanahan said. "He got it mixed up with a couple of other contents. And he checked to the man play, which doesn't have a blocker for( Neal) if he comes.

"So he rued that enough quick. But he came back from it presto. occasionally those plays wake you up veritably presto."

Purdy got up from the megahit and three plays latterly made a crucial gamble to George Kittle on a third- and- 7 play to pick up a first down en route to a touchdown to cap the first drive of the game.

Purdy went on to complete a remarkable debut as a starter despite playing with some discomfort in his oblique and caricatures. He completed 16 of 21 passes for 185 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions and added a 2- yard touchdown scramble.
